(Sept. 29) – Dallas senior litigator, bar association leader and author Talmage Boston has joined forces with Shackelford, Bowen, McKinley & Norton as a partner.
Boston practiced for more than 20 years at Winstead. He says Shackelford is a “perfect fit.”
“They have a need for a senior litigator and they have a lot of litigation work related to partnership disputes for me to handle,” he says.
Boston is a past chairman of the State Bar and Dallas Bar’s litigation sections. From 2005-2011, he received a State Bar of Texas Presidential Citation Award for his leadership activities.
A presidential and baseball historian, Boston has also authored four books. Most recently, he authored Cross-Examining History: A Lawyer Gets Answers from the Experts About Our Presidents, in which he interviewed leading presidential historians and insiders.
In 2014, Boston moderated a panel on C-SPAN entitled “Baseball & American Life” that featured SCOTUS Justice Samuel Alito, the Washington Post’s George Will, the New York Times’ David Brooks, ESPN’s Tim Kurkjian and USA Today’s Christine Brennan.
