(June 4) – Weil Dallas-based associate Mandy Price was named the 2014 Outstanding Young Lawyer of Texas by the Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA), the firm announced recently. She will receive her award at the TYLA Annual Meeting, which is held at the same time as the State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting in Austin on June 27.

Price, who was also recognized as Dallas’ Outstanding Young Lawyer for 2014 by the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, represents clients on corporate and transactional matters, such as public and private acquisitions, divestitures and investment transactions.

“I can think of no one more deserving to receive this honor than Mandy,” Glenn West, managing partner of Weil’s Dallas office, said in a statement. “She is a gifted attorney and is highly regarded and respected by her colleagues and clients.

“Not only does Mandy demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, character and skill, but she also graciously goes above and beyond on behalf of the profession, her clients and her community, serving as a great example for all to follow.”

The Harvard Law School graduate serves on the board of directors of the Texas Civil Rights Project and the board of trustees of the ChildCareGroup. She is the immediate past president of the J.L. Turner Legal Association.
