Weil, AZA Name Newly Promoted Partners for 2025

The global corporate law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges and the Houston-based litigation firm Ahmad, Zavitsanos & Mensing have each announced that they are promoting three lawyers in Texas into their partnerships in 2025.

Weil and AZA are the 12th and 13th law firms in Texas to release their new partner list, bringing the total number of newly minted partners this cycle to 69. You can read about the other firms here.

The new Weil partners are: 

Brendan C. Conley (Dallas) — Banking and finance

Claudia Lai (Dallas) — M&A

Stephanie N. Morrison (Houston) — Bankruptcy and restructuring

The new AZA partners are:

Weining Bai (Houston) — Commercial litigation

Kyle Poelker (Houston) — Commercial litigation

Paul Turkevich (Houston) — Commercial litigation
