(June 20) – Willkie Farr & Gallagher continues building up its private equity practice in Houston, recently adding its fourth partner with that expertise in the past year.

Jessica Sheridan moved to Willkie from Sidley with New York-based attorney Matthew Rizzo, who led Sidley’s private equity group. Sheridan is listed on Willkie’s website as being based in Houston, but she will also spend time in New York, according to a firm spokeswoman.

Sheridan represents private equity firms and public companies in connection with public and private acquisitions, divestitures and investments.

Since last fall, Willkie has landed Houston private equity partners Archie Fallon, Steve Torello and Kfir Abutbul from King & Spalding, DLA Piper and Kirkland & Ellis, respectively.
