(June 21) – Wilson Elser has awarded the firm’s Thomas W. Wilson Sr. Scholarship for 2017 to the daughter of Shelly Wells, a legal secretary in the firm’s Dallas office.
Madison Washington, the first person in her immediate family to attend college, is a student at Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing and plans to get her master’s degree after to become an orthopedic nurse practitioner.
The scholarship, named after one of the firm’s founders, provides its recipients with $10,000 per year for up to four years or graduation from an accredited college or university, whichever occurs first. It was established in 2010 to support the college education of children of current, full-time Wilson Elser employees.
