Winstead Appoints New Austin Leader

June 11, 2021 Brooks Igo

Winstead announced this week that Jordan Ware has been named managing shareholder of the firm’s 50-lawyer Austin office.

Ware, a member of the firm’s wealth preservation practice group, succeeds Stewart Whitehead, who will continue to lead Winstead’s higher education industry group and serve on the firm’s board of directors.

“Jordan has a deep understanding of the Austin market,” David Dawson, chairman and CEO of Winstead, said in a statement. “She is a future leader of our firm and is an outstanding lawyer, dedicated to providing our clients with thoughtful and innovative solutions to their most complex legal, business and tax issues, along with outstanding service.”

Winstead reported 284 attorneys and $216 million in total revenues in Texas last year, according to The Texas Lawbook 50.
