Houston insurance litigator Vince Morgan, a leader in insurance recovery matters, has left Bracewell for Winstead.
Over his nearly three decades in private practice, Morgan has helped clients secure billions of dollars in insurance proceeds, according to Winstead’s announcement. His experience covers all kinds of commercial coverages, including property, business interruption, CGL, D&O, intellectual property, E&O, reps and warranties, builder’s risk, fiduciary liability, employment practices, and pollution.
“Vince is a strong advocate for his clients and has an incredible track record of successful results, which will enable us to continue building on our strong foundation of client wins. We’re excited to expand our services to include insurance recovery and are confident that Winstead’s real estate and corporate clients will significantly benefit from his addition,” Jeff Matthews, chairman and CEO of Winstead, said in a statement.
Morgan has guided clients through some of the most high-profile cases in the coverage arena, including claims related to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Deepwater Horizon disaster, Covid-19, major weather disasters, wildfires, and the opioid crisis.
Prior to his nearly five-year tenure at Bracewell, Morgan spent the majority of his career at Pillsbury.
