(June 26) – Haynes and Boone has picked up a London-based team of four international arbitration experts from Hunton Andrews Kurth.
The new group is led by Melanie Willems, who was the managing partner of Hunton Andrews Kurth’s London office. She will head up her new firm’s international arbitration practice in England’s capital. The other attorneys include partner Markus Esly, counsel Robert Blackett and associate Ryan Deane.
“We are excited to add such wonderful colleagues and to continue our rapid expansion in the UK Legal market,” Tim Powers, the firm’s managing partner, said in a statement. “Many of our clients seek to resolve their cross-borders disputes before London courts or in major international arbitral forums. We are now able to offer our clients even more robust commercial dispute resolution capabilities in nearly every major financial center around the world.”
