(Jan. 4) – Jones Day recently announced three newly minted partners in Texas, effective Jan. 1.
Alain Dermarkar is based in Dallas and Nicole Perry and Anna Raimer practice in Houston. They are in a class of 47 new partners firmwide.
Dermarkar represents public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, tender offers, joint ventures and general corporate matters. He also represents issuers and investment banking firms in equity and debt securities offerings, including public offerings and Rule 144A transactions.
Last summer, Dermarkar was part of the deal team that represented Ohio-based Cardinal Health in its $1 billion acquisition of The Harvard Drug Group from private equity firm Court Square Capital Partners.
Perry focuses her litigation practice on intellectual property, cybersecurity, data privacy and oil and gas matters. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.
Raimer, a 2004 University of Texas School of Law graduate, is in the firm’s intellectual property practice group. She handles all aspects of U.S. trademark clearance, prosecution, and maintenance, and represents clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
