(June 15) – Dallas private equity firm Brazos Equity Partners said Monday that it is selling Ennis-Flint to an affiliate of Stamford, Connecticut-based private equity firm Olympus Partners. The deal amount was not disclosed.
A Dallas-based corporate team from Weil, Gotshal & Manges led by partner Glenn West handled the deal for Brazos. West received assistance from associates Mandisa Price, Natalie Smeltzer, Jacqui Bogucki, Andrea Scheder and Erin Hughes. Addiitonal Dallas lawyers on the team included tax partner Jared Rusman and banking and finance partner Courtney Marcus and associate Brendan Conley.
Attorneys from the firm’s New York, Silicon Valley and Washington, D.C. offices were also involved.
Last year, Weil advised Brazos when it sold portfolio company Healthcare Solutions to Catamaran Corporation.
Non-Texas lawyers from Kirkland & Ellis advised Olympus.
North Carolina-based Ennis-Flint is the global leader in pavement markings and traffic safety solutions. It serves more than 4,000 government and private sector customers in more than 60 countries through 20 manufacturing facilities and sales offices located across five continents.
