(Oct. 27) – H. Ron White, a founder of the Dallas law firm White and Wiggins, was honored last night by the Southwest Jewish Congress (SWJC) as one of the five recipients of the Stan Golden Man of Action Award.
The Man of Action Award is given to men from diverse disciplines and backgrounds in the DFW area who have distinguished themselves in the pursuit of positive social change and who have made an impact in the community as role models and trail blazers, the SWJC website says.
White was the first African-American man to serve as a state District Court judge in Dallas.
He is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a Life Member of the J.L. Turner Legal Association, a long-standing member of the Texas Bar College and a founding member of the Texas General Counsel Forum.
