(Dec. 23) – Jones Day announced this week that five Texas lawyers are part of the class of 47 newly-promoted partners at the firm, effective Jan. 1, 2017.
Three of the attorneys are based in Dallas.
Jay Johnson is a former federal prosecutor who represents clients in litigation and regulatory matters and advises on corporate compliance measures, and manages incident response, with an emphasis on data privacy, cybersecurity and intellectual property issues.
Mark Rasmussen is in the securities litigation and SEC enforcement practice group and represents companies, corporate officers and directors in securities and shareholder litigation, regulatory and internal investigations, FCPA compliance and merger litigation.
Lindsay Hedrick, who is in the labor and employment practice group, has experience in lawsuits involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, trade secrets and restrictive covenants, retaliation, and employment-related tort and contract claims.
Two of the newly-minted partners are in the firm’s Houston office.
Paul Green represents all major stakeholders in corporate workouts and restructurings, with a particular emphasis on advising clients in the energy industry.
Kelly Turner, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, focuses her practice on corporate finance, corporate governance and securities laws. She advises clients on private and public offerings of debt and equity securities, merger and acquisition transactions, and advising public companies on securities and corporate governance matters, including periodic reporting responsibilities.
