(Oct. 3) – Philadelphia-based Duane Morris opened its second office in Texas with the addition of two partners in Austin, the firm announced yesterday.

Bert Green, an intellectual property expert from Norton Rose Fulbright, and Brad Thompson, an energy lawyer from King & Spalding with significant experience in the electricity industry, will launch the office in the state capital.

Duane Morris’ Austin office is the firm’s 21st in the U.S. and 29th globally. The firm has 13 attorneys in its Houston outpost, which opened in 1999.
