By Brooks Igo

(June 11) – Holland & Knight has tapped three attorneys from Houston law firm Ostrom Morris – including name partners Robert Morris III and Jason Ostrom – to join the firm’s private wealth services group.

Morris and Ostrom, along with senior counsel Stacy Kelly, are Holland & Knight’s first private wealth services group additions based in Texas. The team focuses on fiduciary litigation, trust, estate, and guardianship administration and estate planning.

“Our national Private Wealth Services practice has been seeking ways to grow our dispute resolution capabilities and enter the Texas market, which has a long history of creating and attracting ultra-high-net-worth individuals,” David Scott Sloan, co-leader of the firm’s Private Wealth Services Group, said in a statement.

“Keith, Jason and Stacy are helping us achieve both of these strategic goals by bringing their skills, reputation and client relationships to our Houston office.”

The six-lawyer probate shop Ostrom Morris will close as a result of the move.
