Vinson & Elkins has promoted four lawyers to its partnership effective Jan. 1. They are:
Greg Dillard, whose practice focuses on the response to regulatory enforcement actions initiated by federal and state safety and health agencies against upstream (on-shore and off-shore), midstream, and downstream energy companies. He is in the firm’s Houston office and is a 2002 graduate of The University of Texas School of Law.
Sarah K. Morgan, whose practice focuses on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and advising public and private companies on governance and general corporate and securities matters. She is in the firm’s Houston office.
Marc Rose, whose practice focuses on corporate transactional work, with a particular emphasis in energy transactions, including representing buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, representing funds, portfolio companies and investors in private equity investments, and advising public and private companies in securities offerings and corporate governance matters. He is in the firm’s Dallas office.
Darin Schultz, whose practice focuses on secured lending transactions, project financings, and acquisition financings. He is in the firm’s Houston office.
