V&E energy transactions partner Doug Bland and associate Paul Seifert are representing Summit Midstream in the transaction, which is expected to close by the end of March.
This is the second time in less than five months that Summit Midstream Senior Vice President and General Counsel Brock Degeyter has turned to V&E. In September, the law firm represented Summit Midstream in its $207 million acquisition of ETC Canyon Pipeline, a subsidiary of Energy Transfer Partners.
Other V&E lawyers who worked on the transaction include environmental law partner Chris Amandes, tax law partner David Peck, employment law partner Vanessa Griffith, employee benefits and executive compensation partner David D’Alessandro, energy regulatory partner Michelle Boudreaux and antitrust law partner Cathy Lewis.
