(April 15) – Southern Methodist University (SMU) named Thompson & Knight Dallas partner Peter Lodwick chair-elect of its Alumni Board for 2014 and chair for 2015 to 2017. As part of the appointment, the corporate and securities expert will also serve on SMU’s Board of Trustees.
Lodwick, who received both his undergraduate and law degree from SMU, focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, SEC compliance, corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and investigations.
An anonymous donor recently established an $100,000 endowment in honor of Lodwick, an alumni of the SMU basketball team, and one of his teammates. The Jaccar/Lodwick Teammates for Life Endowed Basketball Scholarship Fund provides support to young basketball players.
