(Sept. 21) – Bracewell & Giuliani announced today that four environmental and natural resources attorneys have joined the firm’s Austin office from Katten Muchin Rosenman.
Sara Burgin, Kevin Collins, Matt Paulson and Whit Swift are all joining as partners.
Burgin and Swift are experts on matters relating to water and air quality, respectively.
Collins, a former assistant U.S. attorney, advises clients on workplace safety and environmental issues. Paulson’s practice includes representing companies in environmental matters including strategic permitting, enforcement and compliance, investigations and crisis response.
“We are listening to our clients,” Jason Hutt, head of Bracewell’s environment and natural resources practice, said in a statement. “Environmental risks are increasingly important to their capital decisions and have become a frequent source of government investigations, enforcement and commercial disputes.”
