Ex-Tenet Healthcare Assistant General Counsel Returns to Haynes and Boone

January 14, 2019 Brooks Igo

Former Tenet Healthcare Assistant General Counsel George “Bill” Morrison has returned to Haynes and Boone to help lead the firm’s healthcare and life sciences practice group, the law firm announced Monday.

Morrison was previously a partner at Haynes and Boone, where he focused his practice on health care fraud and abuse, before joining the Tenet legal department in October 2014. At Tenet, he handled civil and criminal investigations, class actions, and other high-level disputes involving the False Claims Act (FCA), securities law, insurance coverage and consumer fraud claims.

Morrison will co-lead Haynes and Boone’s healthcare and life sciences group with Suzie Trigg.

“I worked with more than 100 law firms at Tenet, and Haynes and Boone consistently stood out for its willingness to collaborate seamlessly with other firms to provide targeted solutions to our most pressing issues,” Morrison said in a statement.
