Sidley Adds Depth to Restructuring Group in Dallas

January 21, 2019 Brooks Igo

Sidley Austin’s Dallas roster has welcomed back a familiar face.

The firm recently announced that Charles M. Persons has joined the firm as counsel. While he has worked for the past year at Togut, Segal & Segal in New York, Persons is rejoining Yvette Ostolaza, Angela Zambrano and other Weil alumni at Sidley.

“Sidley is well-known for its work on high-profile and complex Chapter 11 cases,” Persons said in a statement. “I’ve worked with many of the talented lawyers here at Sidley and am delighted to be joining such an incredible firm.”

Persons represents domestic and international debtors and creditors’ groups in public and private out-of-court reorganizations and in-court Chapter 11 cases. At Weil, Persons was part of the team that worked on the Texas Rangers baseball team and American Airlines bankruptcies.
