Former Reynolds Frizzell partner James Schuelke is joining forces with ex-colleagues at Hogan Thompson LLP, another Houston litigation firm focused on the energy industry.
The now five-lawyer shop was established last year when Christopher Hogan and Samantha Thompson departed Reynolds Frizzell in February 2020. The firm counts Chevron, EOG, Marathon Oil, BP, Callon Petroleum, Ovintiv, Escondido Resources and Legacy Reserves as clients.
In the announcement about Schuelke’s arrival, the firm also said it is adding Allie Hale as an associate. She started her legal career at Baker Botts but was most recently working in risk management at JE Dunn Construction.
Schuelke, a former law clerk to Justice Edith Brown Clement of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, primarily handles construction, midstream and petrochemical disputes.
