Houston corporate energy lawyer David Wilhelm has returned to Locke Lord after gaining more than a decade of in-house experience.
For the past eight-and-a-half years Wilhelm has been the vice president of business development for Navitas Midstream Partners. Before that he was an assistant general counsel at Kinder Morgan and attorney for Copano Energy.
Wilhelm started his legal career at Locke Lord in 2006 after receiving his law degree from the University of Houston. He said he has been “fortunate to work with many of the extraordinary lawyers at Locke Lord who I will now be privileged to again call my colleagues.”
Bill Swanstrom, co-chair of Locke Lord’s energy and infrastructure practice group, said Wilhelm has extensive experience in the midstream sector and will “immediately bolster our capabilities in negotiating commercial and M&A transaction agreements.”
