This week’s edition of P.S. spotlights multiple legal clinics — one recently launched by Squire Patton Boggs that assists startups owned by women of color and nearly two-dozen clinics taking place throughout Dallas in March that are sponsored by Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (the Dallas Bar Association’s volunteer lawyer entity) and various law firms and corporations.

The Latest Charitable Happenings
— Squire Patton Boggs has partnered with the New Voices Foundation to launch a pro bono legal clinic serving startups owned by women of color. Squire Patton Boggs attorneys will provide pro bono legal advice on issues such as business formation, corporate governance, contracts, intellectual property, data privacy, employment and the supply chain. The clinic is looking to help businesses that are currently low-revenue and high-potential expand opportunities for wealth creation and enterprise in this traditionally underserved community.
New Voices Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers women of color entrepreneurs access to capital, leadership development, skill-building and networking opportunities through grants, pitch competitions, entrepreneurial summits, accelerators and bootcamps, online learning programs, mentoring and coaching, communications outreach and other programming.

— The Dallas Bar Association’s Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program will have nearly two-dozen virtual and in-person legal clinics for those in need of pro bono legal services. All virtual clinics run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Here are the dates and details, including the sponsors of each clinic:
