Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld announced the election of 11 new partners, effective Jan. 1. Two of those lawyers are from the firm’s Texas offices.
Gabriel J. Procaccini is a member of the firm’s energy and global transactions practice in Houston. He is principally engaged in representing domestic and international oil and gas companies in transactions involving all phases of the energy business, including exploration and production activities, midstream ventures, infrastructure projects and financing matters.
Michelle Reed is a member of the firm’s litigation practice in Dallas. She focuses on complex civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on representing public companies and their officers and directors in securities litigation, internal investigations, regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings.
