Baker Hostetler Signs Two L&E Partners in Houston

June 10, 2020 Brooks Igo

Baker Hostetler recently landed two Houston labor and employment partners from Reed Smith.

Mark Temple and Peter Stuhldreher joined the Cleveland firm’s 85-lawyer Houston office this month. Temple was the head of Reed Smith’s global labor and employment practice and will serve as the labor and employment group coordinator in Houston at Baker Hostetler.

The two attorneys first practiced together at Jones Day from 2006 to 2010, where Temple led Jones Day’s Houston labor and employment practice and Stuhldreher was an associate. They reconnected in May 2013 to join the new Reed Smith Houston office.

A graduate of the South Texas College of Law Houston, Temple concentrates his litigation practice on national wage and hour class actions, noncompete and trade secret matters and high-stakes discrimination cases. Stuhldreher, who received his law degree from the University of Houston, specializes in trade secret and restrictive covenant cases, and he also regularly defends employers in wage and hour overtime collective actions.
