July 2, 2019 Brooks Igo

Baker McKenzie announced new leadership in Texas this week.

Tax expert Bobby Albaral, who has served as the global firm’s Dallas office managing partner since 2017, will now step into a new role as the leader of the firm’s Texas offices (Dallas and Houston).

In Houston, Brendan Cook has replaced Jonathan Newton as managing partner of the Houston office. Cook is chair of the Baker McKenzie North America Arbitration Group and has previously led the Houston litigation practice group.
