(March 28) — The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) selected Celina Joachim, a newly elected partner at Baker & McKenzie, to its 2014 Fellows Program, the firm announced recently.

Joachim, a University of Houston Law Center graduate, joins a class of 170 lawyers from around the country who have been elected LCLD Fellows for 2014. She focuses her practice on employment matters and is involved in the firm’s pro bono program.

The LCLD Fellows program is an initiative to increase diversity at the leadership levels of the nation’s law firms and corporate legal departments. Each fellow participates in a one-year mentoring program.
