Barnes & Thornburg Adds Dallas IP Partner

Barnes & Thornburg recently added intellectual property partner Jerry C. Harris, Jr. to its Dallas office.

Harris, a former contract advisor to the NFL Players Association, lateraled over from Wick Phillips. His primary practice focus is on patents and trademarks and has spanned a number of industries, including polymer composition, pharmaceutical methods of treatment, petroleum exploration, computer software, business methods and mechanical devices. 

“Jerry is a long-time Texan who knows his way around the Dallas market,” Mark Bayer, Dallas office managing partner and firmwide management committee member, said in a statement. “He will undoubtedly be a welcome addition to our growing presence in the region, and we’re thrilled to have him.”
