Dallas trial lawyer Darren Nicholson is leaving one litigation boutique for another.
Nicholson was a shareholder at Sayles Werbner, which merged with Bradley last week to launch the Alabama law firm’s Dallas outpost, and practiced there for more than a decade. He has joined forces with Burns Charest, the 20-lawyer Dallas-based firm announced on Tuesday.
Two of Nicholson’s notable successes include representing plaintiffs in a multimillion-dollar claim against United Technologies involving business fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and commercial bribery and obtaining a favorable summary judgment in a breach of contract claim related to the Texas Ranger Baseball Partners bankruptcy.
“What Warren and Dan Charest have done together is so impressive, and I couldn’t be more excited to join their team,” Nicholson said in a statement. “Burns Charest is home to some of the best legal talent in Dallas.”
