(April 22) – The Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association named Julie Sherman the winner of its Liberty Bell Award. Sherman is in the litigation section of the Fort Worth-based firm, where she has been for 17 years.

The Liberty Bell Award is given to a non-lawyer who has made a “selfless contribution to the community by strengthening the effectiveness of the American system of justice, and by instilling a better understanding and appreciation of the law.”
