CDT Roundup: 13 Deals, 9 Firms, 106 Lawyers, $2.3B

Previous Roundups discussed the global growth in healthcare M&A, and forgive us if we return to the subject. But in this week’s relatively light load of M&A deals, the healthcare sector — and forgive us the metaphor — sticks out like an injured thumb.

Four of last week’s 13 deals involve healthcare: the PE acquisition of a major cardio imaging firm; the funding of a mental health services staffing platform; the merger of two major “integrative medicine” platforms; and the acquisition of a “sustainable” ingredients firm by a supplier of nutritional supplements.
