(May 2) – The Lanier Law Firm announced yesterday that Todd Grimmett, a former in-house attorney at Chesapeake Energy Corp., has joined its commercial litigation team.
The Houston law firm’s addition of Grimmett is part of an effort to target lawsuits affecting the oil and gas industry, according to a press release.
Grimmett, who had been with Chesapeake since 2011, represented the Oklahoma City-based natural gas producer in litigation matters related to the company’s upstream and midstream divisions. He also handled regulatory inquiries and investigations.
