Dania Duncan Moreno, a real estate partner, has joined Duane Morris in Dallas from Bell Nunnally & Martin. She will focus her practice on domestic and cross-border real estate and corporate transactions, including hospitality, retail, industrial and residential projects in Texas and Mexico, according to a news release.
Before joining Duane Morris, Moreno was a partner at Bell Nunnally, where she built a substantial Dallas-based practice advising U.S. and international clients on commercial real estate transactions and corporate matters. She has extensive experience representing real estate investment trusts, developers, lenders and hospitality companies in multimillion-dollar deals involving leases, purchase and sale agreements and construction contracts. She also worked at Greenberg Traurig, DLA Piper and Thompson & Knight, where she began her legal career. Licensed in both Texas and Mexico, Moreno also regularly handled cross-border matters involving projects across Mexico. Earlier in her career, she practiced in Mexico prior to earning her LLM in the United States.
“I look forward to the opportunity to expand my practice on the Duane Morris platform and offer my clients full service legal support,” Moreno said in the release. “At the same time, I hope to be able to work across the firm to assist our existing clients with their needs in Texas and Mexico.”
Duane Morris has been expanding its Texas footprint in recent years, with offices in Dallas and Fort Worth, and continues to build out its real estate capabilities in the state as part of its broader national and international growth strategy.

Moreno advises REITs, timeshare companies, developers, hospitality industry clients, and asset managers on commercial real estate transactions, including retail, office and industrial leasing; acquisitions and dispositions; developments and construction agreements; and management contracts.
