DLA Piper Mints Four Partners in Texas

DLA Piper has promoted 77 attorneys to partner around the world, including four in Texas.

Joseph Fore is a member of the firm’s corporate practice in Austin. He represents private equity and venture capital firms, public issuers and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity syndication, corporate governance and SEC disclosure matters. Fore is a former special assistant to the assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Jibin Luke is a Houston corporate lawyer who focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, tax issues and oil and gas matters. He received his J.D. from Texas Tech and his LL.M. from the University of Houston Law Center.

Crystal Woods is in the firm’s employment practice in Dallas. The SMU Dedman School of Law graduate handles commercial litigation, labor and employment and securities claims, with an emphasis on issues involving trade secrets and restrictive covenants.

Adam Pierson is a Dallas appellate law expert. He has developed significant experience representing healthcare companies in antitrust, class action and matters arising under the False Claims Act and state consumer fraud laws.
