By Brooks Igo – (October 10) – Atlanta-based national labor and employment firm Ogletree Deakins recently announced it boosted its Dallas office by picking up employment litigator Buena Vista Lyons, formerly a managing partner at FordHarrison.
Firm leadership, in its press release about the hire, called the addition of Lyons as a “significant coup.”
Lyons, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, represents clients across a variety of industries, including healthcare, cosmetics, airline and hospitality. She has expertise defending businesses against discrimination and sexual harassment claims, whistleblower and constructive discharge matters, FMLA claims and wage and hour claims, among others matters.
She is a past president of the J.L. Turner Legal Association.
