Fulbright Partner Linda Addison Named 2013 UT Distinguished Alumnus

May 30, 2013 Mark Curriden

Each year, six alumni from the University of Texas are honored for distinguishing themselves professionally and through service to the University with the Distinguished Alumnus Award, the highest alumni award.

Linda Addison, partner-in-charge of Fulbright’s New York office, was honored as one of the six recipients for 2013. Addison also practices in the firm’s Houston office and is a founder and president of the Center for Women in Law at UT.

The 1976 UT Law School graduate is a member of the firm’s global executive committee and is the global head of dispute resolution and litigation. While at UT Law, she became the first woman managing editor of the Texas Law Review.

Other recipients of the award for 2013 include Chief Justice Wallace Jefferson and Janiece Longoria, partner at Ogden, Gibson, Broocks, Longoria & Hall.
