Michael Stafford and Katharine David have jumped from Haynes and Boone to Gardere, joining the government affairs and condemnation/eminent domain practices respectively in the trial practice group as partners in the Houston office.
Stafford, who spent eight years as a former Harris County attorney, helped co-found the public law practice group at Haynes and Boone when he joined in 2009. The South Texas College of Law graduate focuses his practice on resolving government-related disputes, including condemnation matters, regulatory compliance issues and administrative matters.
David, a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law, focuses her practice on litigation and appellate matters on behalf of cities, counties and elected officials in condemnation, election law and constitutional tort matters. She also counsels companies in the energy, construction, distribution and manufacturing sectors.
