Gardere Partner Cristina Portela Begins Term as President of the Houston Association of Women Attorneys

(April 20) – Gardere Wynne Sewell recently announced that labor and employment partner Cristina Portela began her one-year term as president of the Houston Association of Women Attorneys, effective April 1.

The AWA focuses on the advancement of women law students, lawyers and judges. Portela has also previously served as the chair of the AWA Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
