Haynes and Boone announced this week that Houston environmental litigation partner Ann Al-Bahish has jumped to the firm from Kelley Drye & Warren.
This is Al-Bahish’s second run with Haynes and Boone – she practiced at the firm for more than a decade from 1999 to 2009. She then worked at Jackson Gilmour & Dobbs for seven years before joining Kelley Drye at the end of 2016.
Al-Bahish, who also has a doctorate in public health, represents railroads, energy companies, manufacturers, healthcare entities and state governments in environmental and commercial matters.
Most recently, she earned a complete defense judgment on a $90 million environmental allocation claim brought against her client in federal district court in Tacoma, Washington.
In addition to her law practice, Al-Bahish has served as chair, vice-chair and secretary of the board of Healthcare for the Homeless in Houston and was a founding board member of Doctors for Change. She also sits on the board of the Houston Area Women’s Center.
