Adam Schiffer, co-founding partner at Schiffer Hicks Johnson and a specialist in international arbitration, has left his firm to start the first Texas office of Brown Rudnick in Houston.
A 1986 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, Schiffer has represented scores of business clients — both plaintiffs and defendants — in more than 50 trials.
Schiffer, a former partner at King & Spalding and lawyer at Vinson & Elkins, co-founded Schiffer Hicks Johnson more than 17 years ago.
Brown Rudnick, according to American Lawyer, has about 215 lawyers and reported 2023 revenues of $269.5 million.
“I am thrilled to be joining Brown Rudnick’s talented group of trial lawyers,” Schiffer said in a written press release. “The firm’s litigation practice has been growing tremendously and has a great track record of success. It’s a natural fit for my clients.”
