(May 24) – Husch Blackwell, a Kansas City law firm with offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin, recently announced that it will combine with Wisconsin law firm Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. effective July 1.
The new firm will remain named Husch Blackwell and will have more than 700 attorneys with offices in 19 cities. The two firms had combined annual revenues of $346 million in 2015, which would place it in the Am Law 100, according to a press release issued by the firm.
“This combination strengthens the depth and scale of our industry groups, including technology, manufacturing, real estate and financial services,” Maurice Watson, chairman of Husch Blackwell, said in the statement. “We share a strong commitment to our clients and our communities, and place a premium on developing talent.”
