(Sept. 6) – Locke Lord announced this week that Paul Neufeld, an international arbitration attorney, has joined the firm’s Houston office as a partner. He will also work out of the firm’s London office, a hub for international disputes.

“I was impressed with the firm’s dedication to client service, its collegiality, and the firm’s efforts to expand its international arbitration capabilities in Houston and globally,” Neufeld said about what influenced his decision to join Locke Lord.

Neufeld was previously a senior associate at Norton Rose Fulbright, where he practiced for 10 years and worked for the last five years out of the firm’s Dubai office.

The University of Texas School of Law graduate advises clients on commercial and investor-state disputes and structures cross-border transactions and investments.

Discovery, award enforcement and parallel litigation are the hot topics in international arbitration, Neufeld says.
