Jackson Walker Elects 11 New Partners

Jackson Walker announced Wednesday that they have elected 11 attorneys to the partnership. They are:

Jonathan Lass, whose practice focuses on intellectual property, corporate and securities, and technology, privacy and data security. Lass, who has served as interim General Counsel for a publicly traded company, is in the firm’s Austin office and is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law.

Monica Pace Messick, whose practice focuses on energy lending facilities, mergers and acquisitions, business entity formation and governance and general contract negotiations. She is in the firm’s Dallas office.

Sarah Dobson Mitchell, whose practice focuses on representing clients in employment litigation in federal and state courts and related proceedings. She is in the firm’s Dallas office and is a graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law.

Crystal J. Parker, whose practice focuses on business and commercial litigation, with a focus on defamation, business disparagement and shareholder oppression claims. She is in the firm’s Houston office and is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.

Marisela M. Peña, whose practice focuses on assisting clients with joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings, including underwritten offerings. She is in the firm’s Houston office and is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.

Brian K. Prewitt, whose practice focuses on matters relating to patents, trademarks, and copyrights, technology development, acquisition, licensing, strategic alliances, distributorship and manufacturing agreements, due diligence, counseling and litigation. He is in the firm’s Austin office and is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law.

Jason P. Reinsch, whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and arbitration, intellectual property litigation, oil and gas litigation, insurance coverage disputes, bankruptcy and disputes with regulatory agencies. He is in the firm’s Dallas office.

Jack E. Skaggs, whose practice focuses on general commercial litigation, with an emphasis on insurance defense, real estate litigation and creditors’ rights. He is in the firm’s Austin office and is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law.

Stephanie Collett Sparks, whose practice focuses on business and commercial litigation. She is in the firm’s Dallas office and is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law.

Elena Villaseñor Sullivan, who practices as a trial and appellate attorney and international trade attorney. She is in the firm’s San Antonio office.

Erin N. Tuggle, whose practice focuses on estate planning and the administration of estates and trusts, with a particular emphasis on complex federal tax issues and the preservation of wealth through efficient transfer techniques. She is in the firm’s Austin office and is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law.
