(April 20) – Jackson Walker strengthened its energy regulatory practice in Austin with the addition of three attorneys, the firm recently announced.

John Hays, Gregg Owens and Alicia French lateral over from Hays & Owens, an Austin boutique law firm that focuses on energy regulatory and litigation matters.

Hays, a former examiner with the Railroad Commission of Texas, and Owens join Jackson Walker as partners, while French will serve as senior counsel.

“We are excited for these great additions to the Jackson Walker team,” Matt Dow, Austin managing partner at Jackson Walker, said in a statement. “As the energy landscape continues to evolve, their experience will be invaluable in helping our clients stay ahead of the curve.”
