Jackson Walker Names 12 New Partners

(February 17) — Texas-based Jackson Walker promoted 12 lawyers to partner, the firm announced recently. They are in the firm’s Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio offices.

Four are in the Austin office. They are Brad Anderson, Nicole Brennig, Aron Burnett and Richard Cardillo.

Anderson, a Texas Tech University School of Law graduate, focuses his litigation practice on the area of eminent domain.

Brennig, a SMU Dedman School of Law graduate, focuses her corporate and securities practice on fund formations, secondary transactions and portfolio investments.

Burnett, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, focuses his practice on real estate, finance, leasing and general corporate matters. His primary emphasis is representing sellers in all phases of the disposition of REO multi-family housing complexes.

Cardillo, a University of Notre Dame School of Law graduate, focuses his practice on the representation of institutional investors in alternative investments.

Five are in the Dallas office. They are Michael Laussade, Sara McEown, Nicole Metcalf, Lauren Mutti and Justin Shipley.

Laussade, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, focuses his corporate and securities practice on entity formation, capital raising, securities law compliance, corporate governance, contract negotiation and merger and acquisition transactions.

McEown, a SMU Dedman School of Law graduate, focuses her litigation practice on complex business, construction, energy and real estate matters.

Metcalf, a University of Oklahoma School of Law graduate, focuses her litigation practice on complex intellectual property matters such as patent infringement litigation and oil and gas disputes.

Mutti, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, focuses her labor and employment practice on defending employers in litigation relating to issues with employees and unions.

Shipley, a SMU Dedman School of Law graduate, focuses his practice on debt-based financing transactions and restructurings and real estate.

Colin Murchison is the only partner promoted in the Fort Worth office. He is a St. Mary’s School of Law graduate and focuses his wealth planning practice on probate, probate litigation, guardianships, estate planning and tax.

Susan Koch is the only partner promoted in the Houston office. She is a Tulane University School of Law graduate and focuses her health care practice on structuring joint ventures between hospitals and physicians for the formation of ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals and providing operational, regulatory and transactional representation to hospitals, health care systems, physician-hospital organizations, physicians and medical group practices.

Lauren Ciminello is the only partner promoted in the San Antonio office. She is a St. Mary’s School of Law graduate and focuses her corporate and securities practice on advising clients on business transactions including entity formation, mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, public and private offerings of securities and contract negotiations.
