Jones Day Picks Up Two Houston Laterals

May 13, 2019 Brooks Igo

Jones Day recently announced a pair of partner hires in Houston, adding depth to its securities and energy practices.

Bryan Brown and Alfredo Ramos previously practiced at Reed Smith and Thompson & Knight, respectively.

Brown, a former attorney examiner at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, represents issuers, underwriters, and investors in capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, secondary and convertible securities offerings, and high-yield debt offerings. He has represented clients in the oil and gas, manufacturing and telecommunications sectors.

Ramos focuses his practice on energy transactions and infrastructure and project development matters in the United States, Mexico and throughout Latin America. He counsels clients in the upstream, midstream, oilfield services and renewable energy sectors regarding acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and a wide-range of investments and commercial agreements.
