Kelly Hart Partner to Receive 2018 Chief Justice Jack Pope Professionalism Award

July 17, 2018 Brooks Igo

The Texas Center for Legal Ethics announced Tuesday that Kelly Hart partner David Keltner is the honoree of the 2018 Chief Justice Jack Pope Professionalism Award.

Keltner will receive the award from Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Nathan Hecht on September 7 in Austin at the Annual Texas Supreme Court Historical Society Dinner.

The TCLE presents the Pope Award to a judge or attorney who personifies the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in appellate law, according to the announcement.

“David Keltner epitomizes what every young lawyer should aspire to be—an advocate who strives to further the administration of justice in a manner that honors his clients, the attorneys that he works with and against, and the judges before whom he appears,” Jerry Bullard, a shareholder at Adams, Lynch & Loftin and one of the attorneys who nominated Keltner for the award, said in a statement.

Earlier this year, Keltner received the highest honor from the Tarrant County Bar Association.
