Locke Lord Partner Ann Ryan Robertson Elected President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators

December 13, 2018 Brooks Igo

Locke Lord partner Ann Ryan Robertson was recently elected president of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), which is the world’s leading professional body for dispute resolutions with more than 16,000 members in 133 countries.

Robertson, who is based in Houston, is the first American woman – and just the second American – to be selected for the top post in the CIArb’s 104-year history. She will take office in 2021.

A graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, Robertson serves as an arbitrator and advocate in both international and domestic arbitrations.
