Lynn Pinker Taps Jackson Walker for New Partner

October 4, 2019 Brooks Igo

Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst, a top litigation boutique in Texas, has added Sara Chelette from Jackson Walker to its partnership ranks.

The Dallas firm’s signing of Chelette comes two weeks after The Lawbook learned that Lynn Pinker had lost Jeremy Fielding to Kirkland & Ellis.

Chelette, a graduate of Baylor Law School, concentrates her practice on cybersecurity and data privacy, including advising clients on compliance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation and assisting them with nationwide data breaches. She also handles lawsuits relating to fiduciary duty, trade secrets, breach of contract, construction defects and zoning.

“We are excited to welcome Sara as our newest partner. We believe she will soon take her place as one of the best commercial trial lawyers in Texas. She is that good,” Mike Lynn, founder of Lynn Pinker, said in a statement.

Chelette is an inaugural member of WE LEAD, a Dallas Bar Association program designed to empower female leaders in the legal profession. She also handles pro bono matters for the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and the Human Rights Initiative of Texas.
