(January 14)–Steven Kennedy, a shareholder of Dallas-based construction law firm McGuire, Craddock & Strother P.C., has been elected chairman of the Dallas Bar Association’s Construction Law Section for 2014.
The SMU Dedman School of Law graduate represents clients in both contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
“The North Texas economy is fueling a robust assortment of construction projects, and it’s more important than ever for lawyers in this sector to stay abreast of the latest legal developments and construction industry trends,” Kennedy said in a statement issued by the firm. “This is an important time for the DBA’s Construction Law Section to serve as a valuable resource for attorneys who represent clients in the construction arena.”
